UNC rides a seven-game winning streak into Saturday's game against Sacramento State, a 6 p.m. start.
The Bears are 13-5, including 5-0 in Big Sky play after wins over Weber State, Idaho State, and Portland State and swept the road swing at Montana State and Montana.
Saturday's game marks one-third of the way through league play, with the Bears leading the Big Sky in assists per game (17.4), effective field-goal percentage (58.4), fast-break points (13.4), field-goal percentage (51.5), scoring offense (83.2) and 3-point field goal percentage (35.7), while holding the second position in assists-to-turnover-ratio (1.6), defensive rebounds per game (26.7) and scoring margin (8.2).
Nationally, UNC ranks second in field-goal percentage, third in offensive rebound defensive percentage and eighth in effective field-goal percentage.
Brock Wisne's 63.6% shooting percentage ranks 11th in the nation, while Langston Reynolds holds down 17th at 60.9%.

SERIES HISTORY

UNC leads the all-time series 24-9, including 13-3 in Greeley.
The Bears enter on a three-game winning streak after sweeping last season's series.
UNC claimed a 77-75 victory in Greeley, before securing the sweep with an 80-75 win in Sacramento.
Over the last 10 games, the Bears hold an 8-2 mark, including 4-1 in the last five.
The Hornets last defeated UNC 72-64, Jan. 12, 2023, in Sacramento. Their last win in Greeley occurred Jan. 8, 2022, with an 85-71 result.

WINNING STREAKS

UNC currently holds the eighth longest active winning streak in the country behind Iowa State - 12, Duke - 11, Michigan State 10, Auburn - 9, Houston - 9, Cleveland State - 9 and Marist 9.
The seven-game winning streak matches the longest in the program's NCAA DI Era and tied for the ninth-longest in school history.
In 124 seasons, the 1966-67 squad holds the record with 14 straight victories, while the 1925-26 team ran off 10 in succession.
Four teams won nine straight games (1932-33, 1940-41, 1948-49, and 1964-65.)
The 1931-32 and 2002-2003 Bears defeated eight opponents.
Joining the 2024-25 squad with seven-straight wins are the 1922-23, 1923-24, 1924-25, 1930-31, 1935-36, 1947-48, 1959-60, 1963-64, 1965-66, 1988-89, 1997-98, 2009-10 and 2010-11.
The 5-0 start in Big Sky play is the second longest in school history to start league play, with the 2010-11 squad holding the record at 7-0.

During the seven-game winning streak, UNC converted at 56.1% (217-387) from the floor.
The Bears knocked down 46 of 118 (39%) from 3-point range.
UNC dished out an assist on 59% (127 of 217) of its made buckets.

COLORADO PREP PIPELINE
• Zach Bloch, Langston Reynolds, Egan Shields and Brock Wisne all attended Colorado Prep before joining the Bears. All four played valuable minutes, with Bloch, Reynolds and Wisne cracking the starting five, while Shields joined the lineup after redshirting last season.
