Pals Paced Bears at Ram Masters

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Westin Pals paced Northern Colorado in the first golf tournament of the 2024-25 campaign.
Pals, a graduate student from Castle Rock, Colorado, posted a 3-over-par at the Ram Masters Invitational – hosted by Colorado State – on the 7,049-yard/par 70 course at Fort Collins Country Club.
He opened with a 1-over-par Tuesday with a 70 and 71 on his two circuits around the course, before inking a 72 in Tuesday's final round.
The Bears placed 15th in the 16-team field with a 288-294-292—874, five strokes behind Denver and three ahead of UC Santa Barbara.
JaeSeung Na posted a 1-under-par in the final round and finished with a 5-over-par 215 (74-72-69).
Palmer Mutcheson went 72-72-80—224 over the 54 holes, while Talan Gover registered a 72-80-75—227.
Davis Miller rounded out the scoring for UNC with a 74-79-76—229.
Playing as individuals, Matias Koropeski shot a 227 (79-70-78), while Takato Imoto tallied a 229 (78-76-75).
The Bears return to action Sunday, Sept. 21 – Monday, Sept. 23 at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational – hosted by Air Force.
