GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado's bend but don't break defense stymied Colorado State most of the fixture at Jackson Stadium Thursday.
The Bears thwarted many of the attacks by the Rams, forcing most of their 24 shots from distance or at tough angles.
UNC fifth-year goalkeeper Kaya Lindberg turned away eight of the 11 shots on net. Mia Norman and Ava Marshall inked a shot each.
Colorado State tallied three goals – all on corner kicks – in the final 28 minutes of the tilt – securing the 3-0 result.
Head Coach Tim Barrera
