Louise Dahl Named Big Sky Golfer of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah – Louise Dahl collected her first Big Sky Conference Women's Golfer of the Week honor of the season, league officials announced Wednesday.
Dahl, a sophomore from Jyllinge, Denmark, tallied eight birdies on her way to a second-place finish at the Red Rocks Invitational at Oakcreek Country Club (par 72/6,065 yards) Saturday (March 16) and Sunday (March 17).
She finished with a 2-under par 214. Dahl opened with a 1-over-par 73 in the first of two rounds Saturday. She remained at 1-over-par with an even par in the second trip around the course. In Sunday's final round, Dahl recorded back-to-back birdies on the par-3 seventh and par-4 eighth, completing the front nine with a 2-under 34. She carded a three on the par-4 14th, tallying a 69, passing 10 competitors on her way up the leaderboard.
Dahl and the rest of the Bears return to competition Wednesday (April 3) and Thursday (April 4) in Maricopa, Arizona, at the Cowgirl Classic – hosted by Wyoming.
