Northern Colorado Enjoys Huge Senior Day Win Over Idaho State

GREELEY, Colo. – Three Northern Colorado student-athletes scored in double figures, and the Bears rolled past Idaho State 63-51 for an exciting Senior Day win at Bank of Colorado Arena.
Seniors Delaynie Byrne and Hannah Simental proved to be difference makers.
Byrne finished with 20 points and 15 rebounds to secure her seventh double-double of the season. An Arvada, Colorado native, Byrne finished 8-for-14 from the floor.
Simental, a Pueblo, Colorado native, scored 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting from the floor.
Sophomore Aniah Hall, who has played well coming off the bench and providing instant offense, tallied 11 points, and picked up five rebounds.
With the win, the Bears are trending as a top-four seed in the Big Sky tournament.
