GADSDEN, Ala. – Northern Colorado placed fifth at (314+304+315—933) at the Chris Banister Classic – hosted by Jacksonville State – on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail – Silver Lakes (par 72/6,188 yards) Sunday - Tuesday.
Timbre Shehee, Marija Jucmane and Louise Dahl paced the Bears, with a 231 total and finished in a three-way tie for 12th.
UNC totaled 15 more swings than fourth-place North Alabama and netted 17 fewer strokes than Queens, which placed sixth.
Shehee carded a 15-over par 231 (79-74-78) and, while Jucmane inked a 74-79-78. Dahl shot 77-75-79 over the three-day event.
Carolina Fallotico and Amy Chitkoksoong secured the fourth and fifth top-33 finishes for the Bears.
Fallotico recorded an 85-81-78—244, ranking 31st, while Chitkoksoong ended in a three-way draw for 32nd (81-81-84—246).
