Rally by Bears Fell Short in Big Sky Quarterfinal

BOISE, Idaho – Northern Colorado's rally fell short against Idaho State in the 2024 Big Sky Championship Quarterfinal at Idaho Central Arena Sunday.
Dejour Reaves led the Bears with 19 points, while Langston Reynolds added 16. Saint Thomas tallied 12 points and handed out a career-high nine assists. Jaron Rillie totaled 11 points, while Brock Wisne added 10.
Trailing by 14 with 4:41 remaining in the game, UNC closed within two possessions with 1:27, when Wisne's layup put the Bears down 71-65.
The Bengals converted 10 in succession from the free-throw line to close out the contest.
UNC scored the first seven points of the game Idaho State outscored the Bears by 10 over the final and led 33-30 at the half.
