Thomas, Wisne Shine in Bears Setback

GREELEY, Colo. – Saint Thomas and Brock Wisne combined for 42 points and 17 rebounds in Northern Colorado's 82-63 loss against Weber State at Bank of Colorado Arena Saturday.
Thomas held a slight edge over Dillon Jone in a matchup between the top two scorers and rebounders in the Big Sky Conference.
Thomas finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks. He went 7 of 19 (36.8%) from the floor, including 2 of 8 behind the arc and drained all 13 of his free-throws, setting career highs in makes and attempts at the line.
Wisne – the only other Bear in double figures finished with 13 points and seven rebounds.
Jones tallied 21 points on 7 of 19 (33.3%) from the floor, including 0 for 5 from deep and 7 of 9 at the stripe. He grabbed nine boards, with five assists and three steals.
A 19-2 run by Weber State, including six straight points to end the first half, turned a 30-30 tie into a 49-32 deficit with 16:48 remaining.
