Shehee Paces Bears at GCU Invitational

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Timbre Shehee finished the first event of the spring with a 1-over-par 217 and paced Northern Colorado at the GCU Invitational – hosted by Grand Canyon – on the GCU Golf Course (par 72/6,155 yards).
Shehee opened at even par after firing a 69 and 75 in the first two rounds Tuesday. She completed the event in a four-way tie for 27th with a 73 Wednesday.
Marija Jucmane completed the inaugural event of the spring with a 10-over-par (79-73-74—226) tied for 77th.
Teammates Louise Dahl (78-75-74--227) and Amy Chitkoksoong (76-77-74—227) trailed Jucmane by one swing, in a six-way draw for 79th.
Carolina Fallotico ended in a tie for 88th, two strokes behind Dahl and Chitkoksoong at 13-over-par, with a total of 78-77-74—229.
UNC returns to competition Sunday, March 10 – Tuesday, March 12 at the Chris Banister Golf Classic – hosted by Jacksonville State in Gadsen, Alabama, on the Silver Lakes Golf Course.
