Bears Hit the Road for Final Three Games

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado hits the road for the final three games before the Big Sky Conference basketball championship, beginning at Weber State. The Bears visit Idaho State Saturday and on the road at Northern Arizona Monday, March 4.
The Bears (17-11, 10-5 Big Sky) share second place with Montana (19-9, 10-5 Big Sky), with UNC holding the tiebreaker with a season sweep. Montana travels to Eastern Washington – the league's leading team – before traveling to Idaho State. The Grizzlies host Idaho State Monday.
Weber State (18-10, 9-6) trails the Bears and Grizzlies by one game and holds a two-game advantage over Idaho State and Montana State for fifth place. Following Thursday's matchup with UNC, the Wildcats host Northern Arizona Saturday and travel to Montana State Monday.
Northern Arizona (13-16, 6-9) holds the eighth spot with three games remaining. The Lumberjacks find themselves a half-game behind Portland State and one game behind Idaho State and Montana State. Seeds seven through 10 open the tournament in the first round Saturday, March 8, while the other six teams receive a bye. Sacramento State enters the final weekend as the only team locked into a seed.

• Tip-off against Weber State is at 7 p.m., while the final two contests get underway at 6 p.m.
