Poulin and Van Haaren Named MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athletes of the Week

GREELEY, Colo. – Stevo Poulin (wrestling) and Kiana Van Haaren (women's indoor track and field) were named the MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athletes of the Week.
No. 7-ranked Stevo Poulin dominated and pinned Tucker Owens of Air Force at 2:07. Poulin's win was a catalyst in the 32-12 dual win over the Falcons. The Bears now prepare for the Big 12 championships set for March 9 and 10 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The NCAA tournament is March 21-23 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Van Haaren enjoyed a standout effort at the Air Force Last Chance Meet. The New Braunfels, Texas native won the long jump with a mark of 5.78 meters. Van Haaren also placed fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.58.
Van Haaren and her fellow Bears begin the 2024 Big Sky indoor track and field championships on Thursday in Spokane, Washington.
