Bears Set for West Coast Swing

GREELEY, Colo. - With just over two weeks remaining in the 2023-24 season, UNC continues its pursuit of a regular season title with a pair of road games.
The Bears sit two games back of Eastern Washington with seven games remaining and hold a two-game advantage over Montana and Weber State for second.
UNC travels to Portland State Thursday before a matinee clash at Sacramento State Saturday. Eastern Washington hosts Idaho State Thursday and Weber State Saturday.
The Bears won seven of their last 10 games, including four of the last five. Over the last 10 contests for the Vikings are 4-6, dropping three straight, after winning the previous three.

LAST TIME OUT
• Looking for an exclamation point to the longest homestand of the season, Northern Colorado delivered the resounding statement in a Saturday matinee at Bank of Colorado Arena.
• The Bears (15-9, 8-3 Big Sky) improved to 10-2 at The Bank this season with an 87-71 triumph over Montana. They swept the season series and opened a two-game lead for second place over the Grizzlies. UNC went 3-1 on the homestand.

• UNC leads the Big Sky in shooting against conference foes and the third highest of any school in the nation, knocking down 51.9% (344-663) against Big Sky opponents.
• The Bears trail Wright State (53.9%) of the Horizon league and Gonzaga (53.3%) of the West Coast Conference.
• No school from the Power Five and Big East rank in the top 10, with the Big Sky, SoCon and Missouri Valley Conference leading the way with two in the top 10 each.
