GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado opens a three-match homestand Friday against Northern Arizona at 6 p.m. at Bank of Colorado Arena.
The Bears (17-5, 8-1 Big Sky) enter with a seven-match winning streak, while the Lumberjacks (10-10, 3-6 Big Sky) lost their last contest.
Over the last seven tilts, UNC posted six sweeps, including four straight matches. The Bears won 13-consecutive games, with their last set loss occurring Oct.12 at Sacramento State, dropping game four.
Syd Cole needs 42 assists to reach 4,000 in her career. Her 10.15 assists per set leads the Big Sky Conference and places her 42 nd nationally, while the 863 helpers rank first and 15th, respectively.
