Holmberg Scores First-Career Goal

GREELEY, Colo. – Brooke Holmberg netted her first collegiate goal Thursday against Northern Arizona at Jackson Stadium.
Lauryn Maggio lifted a service into the box and Holmberg banked her header off the inside of the near post. It cut the Bears deficit to 3-1, with 17 minutes left.
"Tonight was a tough one for the Bears," head coach Tim Barrera said. "We made some critical mistakes but we continued to battle."
UNC continued to press forward but failed to close the gap. The Bears held a 7-4 advantage in shot attempts over the final 45 minutes of action.
Both sides earned three corner kicks. NAU committed seven fouls, while the Bears picked up five.
