SETTING THE SCENE
UNC opens a four-game homestand - the longest of the season - Thursday at 6 p.m. against Idaho State.

The Bears went 8-2 over their last 10 games, including 6-2 in January, while Idaho State dropped six of its last 10. The Tigers posted a 4-4 mark since Jan. 1.

UNC leads the Big Sky in scoring at 81.5 points and 85.9 in conference games. Idaho State averages 67.8 against league foes and 68.5 in all games, the ninth lowest total in the 10 team Big Sky Conference.

Following the matchup with the Tigers, UNC hosts Weber State - the preseason favorites to win the league in both the coaches' and media poll - at 6 p.m. Saturday. The contest features the top two scorers and rebounders in the league, Saint Thomas (20.0, 10.0) and Dillon Jones (19.3, 9.9).
