UNC Falls at Nevada

Reno, Nev. – University of Northern Colorado suffered a 2-0 setback against Nevada at Mackay Field Thursday.
UNC fell to 0-8-1 on the campaign, while the Wolf Pack moved to 1-3-4.
The Wolf Pack started fast registering two shots, including one shot on goal in the first minute of the match. Nevada found the net in the ninth minute, taking the 1-0 lead. Kaya Lindberg recorded a save in the 18th minute to keep the Wolf Pack up by one. In the 32nd minute, the Wolf Pack found the net for the second time in the first half, pushing the lead to two. Riley Kaali-Nagy recorded the only shot of the first half for the Bears in the 42nd minute. The teams went to halftime with Nevada leading 2-0.
In the second half the Bears started aggressive with a shot from Rachel Mortensen early in the period. Nevada had a chance to push the lead to three, but missed off the crossbar in the 59th minute.
