GREELEY, Colo. - The University of Northern Colorado volleyball travels to Omaha, Nebraska for an exhibition match against Creighton Saturday.
The lone contest in the preseason offers both sides an opportunity to access their strengths and weaknesses heading into week one of the 2023 campaign.
The Bears enter the season as the favorites to win their third consecutive Big Sky Championship.
Creighton placed 18th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll and second in the Big East preseason poll.
Northern Colorado opens the campaign with four home matches, beginning with No. 3 Stanford Friday, Aug. 25. No. 10 Kentucky (Aug. 26), Colorado State (Aug. 29) and Colorado (Aug. 31) conclude the first home stand of the season for the Bears.
