GREELY, Colo. – UNC men's basketball head coach Steve Smiley has announced the addition of Radek Homer to the Bears' squad for the 2023-24 season.
Radek is a native of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and will graduate from Mountain Vista High School this spring.
Head coach Steve Smiley on Radek:
"We're really excited that Radek has announced his commitment to become a Bear after concluding a stellar high school career at Mountain Vista High School. Radek played for one of the top prep coaches in Colorado, Brian Wood, and we believe his skill level, toughness, and explosive athletic ability will translate well at this next level. Radek is a winner, a great student, and will be a great addition to our current recruiting class. We couldn't be more happy with his decision!"
Mountain Vista head coach Brian Wood on Radek:
"Radek is one of my all-time favorite players, and more importantly one of my favorite people. He is the most explosive and athletic player I've ever coached. I'll miss having him on my team, but can't wait to see what he does as a UNC Bear!"
