Last Chance to Catch Volleyball at Home this Spring

GREELEY, Colo -- The Northern Colorado volleyball team plays in its final home scrimmage of the spring season this Saturday, April 15, hosting Regis University. The match against the Rangers will begin immediately following the UNC Women's Walk, at 10 a.m. inside Bank of Colorado Arena. The event is free and open to all fans.
"Spring scrimmages are a fun way for our players to get some reps against players who aren't their own teammates, said associate head coach Pi'i Aiu. "They get a little tired of seeing each other across the net. The scrimmages are also a great way for us coaches to learn things about our team and players. We get to put them in different lineups, let them work through some different situations, and evaluate the effectiveness of some tactical things we are trying in spring ball. It's also a fun way for our fans to see some of the players they haven't seen a lot of yet get some time in matches. We have some great young players, and I hope Bear Nation will come out to see them on Saturday and start making connections with them!"
UNC has already played Colorado State, Wyoming and Metro State so far this spring. After hosting Regis, the Bears head to Boulder on April 22 to take on Denver University and the University of Colorado.
