Egbuchilem Named Big Sky's Male Track Athlete of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah -- After winning the 100m and 200m at the Tom Benich Invitational this past Saturday, Northern Colorado's Raphael Egbuchilem has been named the Big Sky's Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
The freshman from Lagos, Nigeria, set the fastest time in the Big Sky in the 100m on Saturday, recording a time of 10.52 (converted from 10.49). In the 200m, his time of 21.21 (converted from 21.14) ranks second fastest in the Big Sky.
This is the first weekly honor for UNC this outdoor season.
UNC is set to compete at Florida's Tom Jones Memorial this Friday and Saturday, April 14-15.
