Simental and Thomas Named MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athletes of the Week

GREELEY, Colo. – Hannah Simental (women's basketball) and Saint Thomas (men's basketball) garnered MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athletes of the Week for their performances during the week of Dec. 11-17.
Simental, a senior guard from Pueblo, Colo., tallied 24 points, three rebounds and four assists in the Bears 75-57 win at Utah State Saturday, Dec. 16. She hit 9 of 13 from the field, including 4 of 7 from 3-point range and making 2 of 3 at the charity stripe.
Thomas, a junior forward from Omaha, Neb., recorded a game-high 27 points, with a team leading nine rebounds, one assist and a steal at RV Colorado Friday, Dec. 15.
Simental and her teammates return to the friendly confines of Bank of Colorado Arena Saturday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m., as part of a Big Sky – Summit League Challenge doubleheader with the men's basketball team.
Thomas and the men's team open Big Sky Conference play at home Dec. 30 at 2 p.m. against Northern Arizona.
