UNC Crushes Utah State in Key Non-Conference Bout

LOGAN, Utah – Senior Hannah Simental scored 24 points to propel Northern Colorado past Utah State 75-57 Saturday evening.
Simental, a Pueblo, Colorado native, finished 9-for-13 from the field, including 4-for-7 from beyond the arc. Simental also handed out four assists and grabbed three rebounds.
Michelle Duchemin came off the bench and dropped 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting from the floor. Duchemin also added five free throws and hauled in four rebounds.
Delaynie Byrne helped with eight points and seven rebounds, while Gabi Fields added eight points with six assists and four rebounds.
