GREELEY, Colo. – Makenzie Harris recorded a double-double in Northern Colorado's 16-25, 25-21, 27-25, 25-19 senior night victory over Weber State Saturday at Bank of Colorado Arena.

The Bears recovered from a slow start to win their seventh-straight match to close out the regular season. After dropping the first set, UNC won the next three games to complete the season sweep of the Wildcats.

In a back-and-forth affair, which featured 23 ties and 15 lead changes, the Bears turned to their defense. UNC accrued a season high of 13 kills, with Cece Huhn factoring in nine of those.

Knotted at 19-19 in game two, the Bears closed with five of the final six points to pull even at one-set apiece at the intermission.

Game three went to extra points when Webster State evened the score at 24-all. After a miscue by UNC pushed the Wildcats in front 25-24, Huhn evened the score and Harris handed her team a set point. The Bears pulled in front with the game winner on an attack error from Weber State.

UNC found its rhythm on the offensive side in set four, hitting .333, with 18 kills. The Bears held a 17-16 edge in a tightly contested frame, before the Bears salted away the victory by scoring eight of the final 11 points.

TEAM RECORDS SERIES NOTES:

UNC improved to 17-10 on the season, including 12-4 in Big Sky action, while the Wildcats fell to 18-9, 11-5.
The Bears ended the regular season in a tie for second with Montana State, while Weber State placed fourth.
UNC leads the all-time series 30-16, including 16-10 in Greeley.
UNC swept the season series with a pair of 3-1 victories, extending its winning streak to five.

TEAM NOTES

UNC outhit the Wildcats .165-141 and held a 13-10 advantage in blocks.
The Bears dropped in eight aces, while surrendering 11.
UNC collected 92 digs, while the Wildcats tallied 80.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

Harris inked her ninth double-double of the season with 22 kills and 17 digs.
- She added three block assists and two aces.
- Harris notched 22 kills on 66 swings, with only three errors, one kill shy of her career high.
- She registered season highs in kills, digs and points with 25.5.
Boon finished with 29 digs, three assists and one service ace.
- She tallied her second 20-plus dig match of the season, upping her career total to 985.
- Her ace moved her to within two of cracking the Division I era for aces in a single season.
Cole tallied her ninth double-double of the season with 41 assists, 14 digs, four kills and three aces.
- She inked her 10th 40-plus assists performance of the season.
Placide slammed home four kills, with four blocks.
Huhn totaled five kills, nine blocks and one dig.
- The nine blocks equal the fourth-most in a set by and individual in the DI era.
Bella LePore registered 15 digs – the third-highest total of her rookie campaign - and one assist.
Bronwyn Timperley added nine digs.
Mia Liddiard chipped in with one dig and one ace.
