OMAHA, Neb. – Three UNC student-athletes scored in double figures and the Bears roared past Omaha 82-70 in a key non-conference tilt Friday afternoon.

Seneca Hackley and Aniah Hall, who both came off the bench, led the Bears in scoring. Hackley dropped a game-high 22 points on 7-for-9 shooting from the field. Hackley also went 4-for-6 from beyond the arc.

Hall added 20 points on a perfect 9-for-9 shooting from the field.

Delaynie Byrne showcased the ability to score in the paint and beyond the arc. The Arvada, Colorado native scored 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field, including 3-for-5 from beyond the arc.

The Bears shot 60 percent (30-for-50) from the field, while the Mavericks finished 44.1 percent (26-for-59) from the floor.
The Bear's fast start in the opening quarter proved to be the difference and they outscored the Mavs 25-11.
The 3-pointer was for the Bears, shooting 42.9 percent (9-for-21), while the Mavs shot a poor 21.4 percent (3-for-14).
