GREELEY, Colo. -- Northern Colorado earned a pivotal Big 12 Conference dual over Cal Baptist 31-6 Sunday afternoon from the Bank of Colorado Arena.

No. 10 Stevo Poulin defeated Elijah Griffin 4-0 and controlled the tempo throughout the match. No. 31 Vinny Zerban made quick of Nolan Miller-Johnston and won via fall just 27 seconds into the match. No. 30 Andrew Berreyesa dominated Louis Rojas and walked away with a 10-1 win.

The Bears improved to 11-3 overall and 1-3 in Big 12 competition, while CBU falls to 2-10 and 1-5.

"We wrestled well today and it was good to see some of our depth. I feel like our guys are on the top of their game and we are excited to be back home next Saturday against another top 15 opponent (North Dakota State)."

UP NEXT

UNC returns to action Saturday and hosts North Dakota State and is on the road Sunday at Wyoming.
