GREELEY, Colo. – Delaynie Byrne recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds in UNC's 62-59 setback versus Northern Arizona.

Hannah Simental added a team-high 14 points and Averee Kleinhans helped with 10 points along seven rebounds.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

As a team, UNC shot 34.5 percent (20-for-58) from the field
Bears finished 16-for-21 at the free-throw line
UNC won the rebounding edge 43-42
Eight lead changes, and tied eight times
NAU scored 21 points off turnovers

"This one hurt, and the girls really battled and fought to the end. Even though we got Delaynie going in the first half, we struggled to find a consistent inside presence. Our paint presence was better in the second half, and they had to account for Delaynie. Give credit to Northern Arizona, they hit some tough shots in overtime and in the fourth quarter."
