Soccer Overpowers North Dakota to Remain Undefeated at Jackson Stadium

GREELEY, Colo.- Thursday night under the Jackson Stadium lights was all about the Bears. The team dominated on the field with fast-paced play and strong ball movement to end the match against North Dakota in their favor, 4-0.
The Bears got things started right off the bat taking complete control of the first half. Lucy Hart got things started for the team with a goal nearly 17 minutes into the match, with an assist from Haley Collier for an early lead.
Not long after, almost 20 minutes into the first, Haley O'Nan found the back of the net with an assist from Melina Faris to bring North Dakota's deficit to 2-0 going into the half.
The second half saw no slowing down for UNC. At 63 minutes into the game, Lauren Woodhull showed off her skill adding yet another goal to the Bears' side of the scoreboard.
The Fighting Hawks had a few good scoring chances in the second half but could not get past goalkeeper Kaya Lindberg.
Nearing the end of the match, Britney Donais set up Sydney Engelkins for her first goal of the season to end the competition 4-0 for the Bears.
Lindberg kept her hot streak alive in goal, recording three saves on the night to earn her second shutout of the season.
The win over UND brings Northern Colorado to a 10-0-1 record against the Fighting Hawks and protects their undefeated mark against the team when playing in Greeley.
