Women's Golf Wraps Up Bobcat Desert Classic

Three Bears finish in the top 30
GOODYEAR, Ariz. – Northern Colorado women's golf finished up its final preparation for next week's Big Sky Championships with the Bobcat Desert Classic at the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona.
The Bears shot their best round of the tournament on Tuesday with a 23-over, 311. Four golfers shot in the 70s led by Abbi Fleiner's 4-over, 76. She sank three birdies on the round helping her to a top 30 finish. She tied with teammate Jenna Chun at 20-over to finish tied for 30th.
Chun shot back-to-back 78s to close out the tournament. One other Bear finished in the top 30 in Amy Chitkoksoong. She shot a 22-over 238 to tie for 33rd. She led the team with five birdies.
What's Ahead
Northern Colorado returns to Arizona next week to compete in the Big Sky Championship. The Bears and the 11 other Big Sky teams will compete April 18-20 at Talking Stick Golf Club.
