GREELEY, Colo. – Idaho State defeated Northern Colorado 63-42 in Big Sky Conference competition.
The Bengals improved to 7-6 (2-0 Big Sky) and the Bears fall to 8-5 (1-1 Big Sky).
Junior Hannah Simental scored a team-high 10 points and collected five rebounds, while Delaynie Bryne added nine points and four rebounds. Freshman Aniah Hall dropped eight points on 4-for-5 shooting from the field.
BY THE NUMBERS
"From the beginning Idaho State was aggressive offensively and defensively. I did not like the way how we responded. Idaho State is known for their defense, and they showed that against us tonight and are No. 1 in the conference for a reason. They disrupted us and made it difficult to execute. We'll watch the film and regroup and prepare for Montana State and Montana."
