Simental shoots for career high at NDSU

FARGO, N.D.—Accounting for 29 of the team's 54 points, Northern Colorado junior guard Hannah Simental posted a career-high scoring total in a 68-54 loss to undefeated North Dakota State on Tuesday night.
Shooting 10-of-17 from the floor, including 6-of-8 from distance, Simental helped Northern Colorado (3-2) to a 4th-quarter lead over the Bison.
Outscoring their visitor 25-8 in the final quarter, North Dakota State (4-0) reversed course over the final nine minutes of play to extend its season-opening streak.
Second on the team in scoring, Delaynie Byrne deposited 13 points and added a game-high 10 rebounds for her first 'double-double' of the season for the Bears.
After four games on the road, UNC will return to Colorado to host Adams State on Saturday, Nov. 26. Opening tip inside the Bank of Colorado Arena is set for 2 p.m. MT
