Sayers leads UNC's effort in first day of diving at WAC Championships

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Northern Colorado's divers opened up their portion of the 2020 WAC Championships on Thursday.
Both Tori Sayers and Erica Farris got a crack at the 3-meter event.
In the morning prelims, Sayers led the way for UNC with a 203.25 as Farris came in with a 146.20.
Sayer's performance earned the sophomore a spot in the consolation finals where she bettered her effort, finishing with a 208.30.
WHAT'S AHEAD.
Friday represents a crack at the 1-meter event for Sayers and Farris. The last time Sayers competed in the 1-meter, she tallied a personal-best 243.5.
