WAC Diving Championships set to begin Thursday in Flagstaff

GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado swimmers had their big moment last week in St. George, finishing third with 497.5 points at the WAC Championships. This week, UNC's divers get their chance to add to that total as the conference Diving Championships begin Thursday in Flagstaff.
Tori Sayers and Erica Farris will represent the Blue and Gold this week at the NAU Aquatic Center.
Both divers last competed at the Air Force quad dual back in January. Sayers dialed-up a personal best during the 1-meter portion on day two, winning with a total of 243.5. The junior also finished third in the 3-meter, scoring 226.85.
Freshman Erica Farris got her first taste of NCAA Division Diving in Colorado Springs. Farris scored 184.70 in the 1-meter on day two and 171.55 in the 3-meter on day one.
Thursday features the 3-meter championships with the 1-meter and platform following on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Prelims begin at 10:30 a.m. MT.
