UNC Football heads to Southern Utah on Saturday
Northern Colorado (2-5, 1-3 Big Sky) at Southern Utah (1-6, 0-4 Big Sky)

The Game
Northern Colorado and Southern Utah enter Saturday night's game looking to get back in the win column. The Bears are coming off a tough stretch of playing three straight top 15 ranked teams over the past three weeks.
Numbers to Know
2.0 - David Hoage leads the Big Sky and ranks fourth in the FCS with 2.0 tackles for loss a game.Â
1.14 -Â Hoage is also second in the Big Sky in sacks and eighth in the FCS with 1.14 per game.
1.43 -Â Northern Colorado is third in the conference and 37th nationally allowing just 1.43 sacks per game.

Scouting the Thunderbirds
• Southern Utah enters Saturday on a four-game losing streak, most recently falling at Northern Arizona 59-35.
• The Thunderbirds are a ball possession team averaging holding the ball 32:09 a game to rank second in the Big Sky.Â
• Quarterback Justin Miller is averaging 214.7 yards per game. That ranks him third in the Big Sky and 32nd in the FCS. He has passed for seven touchdowns on the year.
• Miller's top target is Ethan Bolingbroke with his 38 receptions for 329 yards. Teammate Brandon Schenks leads the team with four touchdowns.Â
• SUU has struggled on defense all season long allowing teams to pass for 307.4 yards and 41.6 points per game to rank last and next to last in the Big Sky, respectively.Â
• Southern Utah is competing in its final season in the Big Sky. They will move to the WAC next season.

Sacramento State and Montana State came up with big road wins last week defeating Montana and Weber State, respectively. They along with Eastern Washington remain unbeaten in conference play.
All eyes will be on Cheney, Washington this weekend as EWU's high flying offense welcomes the stout WSU defense to the Inferno.
