Scouting the Thunderbirds
Southern Utah has been hot and cold as of late alternating win and loss over their last six games. Overall they are 13-8 on the year and 6-4 in the Big Sky.

They have a balanced attack with three guys in double figures and three more averaging eight or more points per game. Cameron Oluyitan leads the team with 13.9 ppg.

SUU is one of the top rebounding teams in the Big Sky averaging 38.3 boards a game and out rebounding their opponents by 6.4 a game.

History against Southern Utah
UNC holds a big advantage over SUU at 11-3 and winners of four of the last five meetings. When playing in Cedar City, Northern Colorado is 5-1.

On This Date
Northern Colorado is looking to buck the trend of when they play on February 6 by picking up the win Thursday night. UNC is 11-14 overall on the date, but just 2-10 when playing away from Greeley.

Around the Big Sky
It will be a battle between the top two teams in the Big Sky standings on Thursday night when Montana hosts Eastern Washington. The Griz already beat the Eagles in Cheney this year 90-63. UNC is a game behind EWU for first place and a half game behind Montana for second.

What's Ahead?
Northern Colorado returns home on Monday to host Portland State at 7 pm.
