Northern Colorado men's basketball took care of business on the road Saturday night defeating Idaho State 85-72. UNC improved to 19-8 on the season and 12-4 in the Big Sky to keep control of its destiny for a Big Sky regular season championship.
The three-headed monster of Jonah Radebaugh, Kai Edwards and Kur Jockuch led the Bears combining for 57 points on Saturday night. Radebaugh led the team with 22 points and nine assists.
Scouting the Vandals
While Idaho is 3-13 in Big Sky play they have impressive wins over Eastern Washington, Sacramento State and Portland State. Two of the three wins have come on the road.
Trevon Allen is the go-to guy for the Vandals averaging 20.6 points on the year and upping it to 21.6 in Big Sky play.Â
Idaho has struggled defensively allowing its opponents to score 71.3 ppg compared to just scoring 65.5.
History against Idaho
Until Idaho returned to the Big Sky in 2014-15 the two programs had never met. Since then UNC holds a 6-3 advantage including a current five-game win streak. Â Â

Eastern Washington defeated Northern Arizona 80-70 in the late afternoon, while Montana went to Bozeman and beat rival Montana State 59-54. The Griz hold the one-game lead over UNC and EWU with two weeks to go. UM heads to NAU Thursday while EWU visits Southern Utah.

Northern Colorado is one win away from a program best third straight 20-plus win season. It will be the sixth time in program history winning 20-plus games.
The Bears won a program record 26 games in 2017-18 on its way to the CIT Championship and followed it up with 21 in 2018-19.
