Northern Colorado improves to 16-8 on the season and 9-4 in the Big Sky.

What They Said
Head Coach Jeff Linder
About the second half performance
"We played at a great pace in the first half. Even though we were up 11 at the half I felt like we were controlling the game on offense. You could tell early on that they wanted to minimize our three-point attempts after giving up forty-three to us earlier this year. It didn't look like they were accustomed to how they were guarding our ball screens and Jonah just picked them apart. Then in the second half, we just did what a good team does not letting the foot off the gas. We did a good job during the big run to get stops and then execute on the offensive end against the defense we thought they would run against our ball screens."
What was the difference between tonight and Monday night
"There can be a lot to be learned from a loss. You don't like to learn from a loss, but sometimes it's good for your team. We realized on Monday night how small the margin is if we don't do all of the little things right. The team came back dialed in tonight with the right mindset that we have had for the majority of our games this year. Credit to Coach Smiley, he really had Northern Arizona down pat. They run a lot of different stuff, but he had us ready for the right stuff and not have us cover a million things."
About Trent Harris and Bodie Hume's play
"Trent and Bodie made two big winning plays tonight that is the effort we want to see every night. When we are making those plays, we are hard to beat. I have been challenging Bodie lately to make those plays and he played a good game tonight. He played with the right energy and pace not trying to do too much and let the game come to him."
What to expect Saturday night
"It will be a different style of game than tonight on Saturday. You know when you go to Sacramento State it's going to be a fourth and goal every single possession style game. You have to be ready to fight. We will be ready for the challenge."
