Big Sky Women's Basketball returns to the Bank with Montana in town

GREELEY, Colo. – Big Sky Conference play returns to the Bank of Colorado Arena for the first time this season as Northern Colorado Women's Basketball welcomes Montana to Greeley for back-to-back matchups Friday and Sunday.

Sophomore Alisha Davis (12 points, 12 rebounds) is coming off her fourth double-double of the season and 11th of her career.
After missing both games against Idaho State, Micayla Isenbart rebounded with a 17-point, 12 rebound performance against Wyoming.
UNC's no-quit attitude was on full display last time out against the Cowgirls. The Bears trailed by as many as 13 points in the final quarter before forcing overtime.
Montana's trip to Greeley represents its first conference matchup this season. The Lady Griz were voted sixth and seventh in the Preseason Coaches and Media Polls, respectively.
Following four years as an assistant for Montana, Mike Petrino is getting his shout as head coach for the Lady Griz.

Montana was picked to finish sixth and seventh in the Preseason Coaches and Media Polls, respectively. First-year head coach Mike Petrino returns three starters from a team that won 17 games a season ago. The Lady Griz also welcome Iowa State transfer Lauren Mills.
Montana has collected wins against Seattle and former Big Sky foe North Dakota. The Lady Griz had its first two conference games against Southern Utah canceled due to COVID-19.

All-time, Northern Colorado holds a 13-18 mark against the Lady Griz with a 5-8 record in Greeley. Before last year's loss in March, UNC had a seven-game win streak going against Montana.
