Northern Colorado women's basketball looks to sweep the road trip as they take on Northern Arizona on Saturday afternoon.

Opening Tip
Northern Colorado defeated Sacramento State, 73-63, Thursday afternoon to improve to 3-2 in the Big Sky. UNC trailed after the first quarter but used a 15-0 run in the second to jump to take the lead. The Bears would hold onto the lead for the rest of the game. Ali Meyer recorded her first double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Jasmine Gayles matched her career-high with 16 points in the game as well. Micayla Isenbart added a career-best, nine assists in the win as well.
Alexis Chapman scored 16 points against Sac St., giving her seven consecutive games with double digit scoring. She leads UNC with a 13.6-point per game average.
UNC had seven blocks against the Hornets and leads the Big Sky with 4.8 blocks per game. The team ranks second with 67 total blocks this season. Alisha Davis added two more on Thursday to give her 30 for the season, ranking second in the conference. She also ranks second in the Big Sky with 2.14 blocks per game.
Scouting the Lumberjacks
UNC takes on a Northern Arizona team that is currently on a four-game win streak, after dropping its first two conference games. The Lumberjacks defeated Southern Utah, 84-76, at home on Thursday to push their record to 4-2 in the Big Sky. NAU brings a versatile offensive attack with three players averaging double figures. Khiarica Rasheed leads the Lumberjacks with a 15.5-points per game average. She also leads the team with 5.9 rebounds per game, while shooting 55.4 percent from the floor. Nina Radford adds to the scoring with 14.3 points per game and Jacey Bailey has 12.6 points per game.
History against NAU
In program history, UNC is 21-6 against Northern Arizona, going 11-3 in Greeley and 10-3 in flagstaff. In Coach Huth's first season, the Bears went 1-1 against NAU. UNC fell to the Lumberjacks in their last game, a 79-68 in Flagstaff.
