Sickler has an array of experience working with high school strength training throughout the Midwest, which will aid in the developing of a pipeline of athletes to recruit to compete at the Division I level at UNC.Â
On top of the three degrees, Sickler has her USTFCCCA Track and Field Technical certification, and has completed the courses, Sports Psychology for the Track and Field Athlete, and Sport Science for the Endurance Events. Sickler is also USATF Level 1 certified.Â
Sickler says, "I am super grateful for the opportunity to join the UNC Bears family. From the moment I stepped onto campus there was an energy that felt like home. Creating a positive and exciting experience for the student athletes while also helping move the program up in the Big Sky Conference is a main goal of mine. Working with Coach Angel is an amazing privilege, based on the image we both have for the program and the passion for the sports, I know we are going to do big things at UNC."
