Two Sweeps to Start Conference Play

Greeley, Colo. - Another quick night for UNC volleyball as they sweep the Bobcats of Montana State 3-0, and move to 2-0 in Big Sky Conference play.
The Bears were in control the entire night as they posted a .303 hitting percentage and held a 46 to 33 kills advantage over the Bobcats. "I would say it's about the serving and passing," Head Coach Lyndsey Oates said, "I thought as the match moved on we served a little better."
Sophomore KJ Ince continued to play well, leading the team in kills with 16. Taylor Muff added 10 kills and Jadyn McCartney kicked in 9 for the Bears. Senior Taylor Els led UNC again in digs with 13 and Daisy Schultz had 39 assists in the contest.
With this win, Head Coach Lyndsey Oates collected her 250th win. "I have honestly not won a single one of those matches, that's all the players, that just means I've been here a while."
Coach Oates Thoughts:
"I think when you have KJ Ince on the left side, putting up the numbers she's putting up, that can lead to a lot of confidence and we're playing really well as a team too."
"I think there's a lot of trust with each other and it's pretty focused volleyball right now."
