Former Bear Awolaja signs with New Orleans Saints

Former UNC offensive lineman Fisayo Awolaja signs with New Orleans Saints
NEW ORLEANS – Former Northern Colorado Bear Fisayo Awolaja signed a contract with the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday.
Awolaja played in all 11 games for UNC in 2018 serving on special teams and as a backup on the offensive line who earned an invite to the Denver Broncos local pro day. Awolaja is working on his master's degree in public health after already earning his bachelor's degree in biology.
He had previously been invited to the Saints three-day mini-camp during the summer.
Awolaja joins former Bears Kyle Sloter (Minnesota Vikings) and Alex Wesley (New York Giants) currently in NFL training camps.
