Two home matches vs. Power 5 teams highlight Bears 2019 schedule

Northern Colorado Volleyball has finalized its schedule for the 2019 season. The Bears open the season on aug. 30 against Rutgers out of the Big 10 and that's not the only Power 5 school coming to Bank of Colorado Arena. Oregon State makes the trip to Greeley on Sept. 19.
UNC will get to judge itself against the Mountain West on four different occasions.
The Bears will also host Air Force in a season opening scrimmage on Aug. 16.
"We are starting a week earlier than normal. I believe this will give us more time to learn and make adjustments before our first regulation match," Oates said.
The Big Sky opener comes in the middle of a four-match homestand on Sept. 26 against Montana. UNC only has one matchup against defending champion Northern Arizona and it comes in Flagstaff.
Other highlights on the schedule include:

- Senior Night Nov. 23 vs. Sacramento State, 7 p.m.
