Overall thoughts on the game
Northern Arizona came out really hot in the second quarter and it hurt us. We just really couldn't get any stops and then offensively we were taking quick shots, just couldn't really find rhythm even with good looks and I think that trickled over to the defensive end. We gave up those 29 points in the quarter and that was the difference. I felt like we played even with them the rest of the game, but really just couldn't turn that corner. We got it down to five points in the third and just couldn't get over the hump. That was really frustrating. You want to end your season on a high note, but it doesn't always end that way. It's just tough, overall it was a tough game in which we gave up too many easy looks. It's the second game in a row we have allowed over 70 points and we will need to make some adjustments and I have to do a better job with our team.
About Micayla Isenbart's Play
We need Micayla to be super aggressive like she did tonight in the tournament. We can't just rely on Savannah in the tournament we need everyone to pitch in and step up at throughout it if we want to reach our ultimate goal of winning it.
Message headed to Boise
I think we have responded well after losses throughout the season. This was a tough trip with a quick turnaround from home and then traveling here all day. The message to the team is let's learn from this and get better. We can learn from this but also move forward and not dwell on it.
