After dominating the most important week of the regular season by sweeping the week with wins over Montana, Weber State and Idaho State, the Bears now enter the final two games of the regular season. They have already clinched a first-round bye and they can't finish worse than second in the standings. UNC isn't content with the runner up finish, they are just one game back of Montana to claim a share of the regular season championship.

BEAR BITES

UNC has already set a record for most Big Sky wins in a season.
The Bears have now swept four teams during conference play and have a chance to push that number to six with wins over Southern Utah and Northern Arizona.
Northern Colorado has won at least three-straight games six different times this season.
They have started three freshmen in those three wins and have started at least two freshmen in every game this season.

UNC takes its last road trip of the season to Cedar City looking to extend its winning streak to four in a row.

THUNDERBIRD THOUGHTS

SUU has four players averaging double figures led by Dwayne Morgan at 13 ppg.
Brandon Better is averaging just over 12 points a game. In the first meeting this season he went off in the second half and finished with 22 points and knocked down four threes.
Southern Utah has lost two-straight headed into this matchup.
UNC got a career performance from Jordan Davis in the first meeting of the season. He scored a new career-high 36 points in just 25 minutes due to foul trouble.

INSIDE THE MATCHUP

The Thunderbird are middle of the pack in both scoring defense and scoring offense.
They currently lead the conference in FG percentage defense.
UNC is third in the BSC in FG percentage.
Sam Masten also set a career high in the earlier win over SUU, he scored 16 points, which is the most the freshman has scored against a Division I team.
Jeff Linder is 4-1 against Southern Utah, UNC has the same series record against the Thunderbirds.

UNC and SUU will tip off 30 minutes earlier than normal at 6:30 p.m.
