UNC baseball releases a challenging 2020 schedule
The University of Northern Colorado head baseball coach Carl Iwasaki announced the Bear's 2020 schedule. The challenging slate will prepare the Bears for the Western Athletic Conference season schedule. As in previous seasons, the Bears will compete against some of the nation's finest, including the opening weekend against 2019 College World Series participant, Texas Tech, NCAA Regional team Nebraska, along with 2018 CWS opponent Washington.
Â
"We are excited about the 2020 season. We have a very challenging schedule and will see us travel to some of the nation's best college baseball venues", said Iwasaki. "The WAC continues to improve every year and this year will be no different and we feel that the opportunity to play tough non-conference opponents will prepare our guys for the challenge that they'll face. We will also play in-state rival Air Force April 14th at Jackson Field, allowing our fans the chance to come to cheer on the Bears."
