Men's Cross Country Set for Mountain Regioanl

UNC men's cross country team heads to Salt Lake City for the Mountain Regional Friday
SALT LAKE, Utah – Northern Colorado men's cross country team will compete in the NCAA Mountain Regional on Friday, November 15 at Rose Park Golf Course. The men are coming off their best finish ever two weeks ago at the Big Sky Championship by taking fifth place as a team.
The regional features the top three men's cross country teams in the nation in Northern Arizona, BYU and Colorado. Two more teams in Utah State and Colorado State are ranked in the top 30 while Southern Utah, Weber State, Wyoming and Air Force are all receiving votes.
In the Mountain Region polls, Northern Colorado enters the regional with their highest ranking ever at 14th. They moved up the polls following the great performance at the Big Sky Championship. Senior Stephen Haas led the Bears at the championship followed by classmates Josh Campbell, Isaiah Remington and Jeremy Romero and sophomore Ryan Lehmuth combined for a tight spread of just over 60 seconds.
