Zach Wilkinson earns CFL Combine invitation

UNC offensive lineman Zach Wilkinson earned an invitation to the CFL Combine in March
TORONTO – Another UNC Bear will be competing in the combine, this time the Canadian Football League (CFL) Combine. Offensive lineman Zach Wilkinson has received an invitation to participate in the CFL Combine in Toronto over March 22-24.
The former Northern Colorado offensive lineman and British Columbia native is projected to be one of the top picks in the 2019 CFL Draft. Wilkinson was a three-year starter for the Bears during his college career and earned All-Big Sky honorable mention honors this season.
Wilkinson has been a standard on the UNC offensive line the past three seasons including playing right guard for the team this year. He helped pave the way for the Northern Colorado offense that averaged 366.3 yards per game. Wilkinson and the rest of the UNC o-line had its best performance of the year against Southern Utah when the Bears had a pair of running backs go over the 100 yards mark for the first time in the program's Division I era and most yards as a team with 292.
With Wilkinson's invite to the CFL Combine, he joins teammate Alex Wesley who was invited to the NFL Combine last week.
