SAN DIEGO, Calif. – UNC has suffered just two losses this season and each of those has had the same common themes. The Bears are normally great at shooting the three-ball and attacking the opposing team with their balanced scoring. Against Texas Tech and San Diego those two things have not gone in the favor of UNC, most recently Saturday night in California when the Bears lost, 85-65.

The Bears are averaging nearly 13 made three-point makes a game this season, USD held them to just five. Jordan Davis, the nation's 16th leading scorer, he posted 30 points 12 more than anyone else, but Jonah Radebaugh was the only other UNC player to score over 10 points. On the season, four Bears are averaging over 10 points per game.

Against the Red Raiders, Davis scored 26 points but only Bodie Hume scored as many as 10 points. As a team, they only made four three-pointers.

The game got away from the Bears late in the first half. UNC trailed by just a bucket with 4:00 to play, San Diego then went on a 9-0 run to close out the half highlighted by a pair of triples. Trailing 39-28 at the half, the Bears struggled to pull any closer in the second half.

BREAKING OUT OF THE BOX SCORE

- UNC is the team with four players averaging over 10 points a game, but USD is the team that had five players score at least 10 points.

- Radebaugh posted a double-double adding 12 rebounds to go with his 16 points.
