@UNCBearsWrestle Host Wyoming on Senior Day and Final Home Dual of Season

GREELEY, Colo. – The Bears will defend the den for the last time this season, as Northern Colorado will host No. 29 Wyoming University at 7 PM (MT), Wednesday Feb. 8th.
In what should already be an exciting dual, it will also be senior day for the Bears, with four Bears being recognized. In addition to senior day, it will also be $1 hot dog night at the Bank of Colorado Arena.
[174] Thomas Chisholm, [285] Jack Kuck, [141] Timmy Box, and [125] Trey Andrews will all be recognized for their accomplishments as student-athletes at the University of Northern Colorado.
The dual against Wyoming will feature multiple ranked matchups:
[125] No. 24 Trey Andrews vs. No. 16 Drew Templeman (Wyoming)
[141] No. 24 Timmy Box vs. No. 8 Bryce Meredith (Wyoming)
[165] No. 16 Keilan Torres vs. No. 16 Branson Ashworth (Wyoming)
Wyoming holds a commanding 50-29-1 lead in the overall series against the Bears, that dates back all the way to 1932.
The last time the Bears defeated Wyoming was during the 1992-1993 season.
Northern Colorado Preview: (1-8, 0-4)
After two tough non-conference losses this past weekend to Cal State University Bakersfield and Cal Poly, the Bears will face another tough test this Wednesday night in the Bank of Colorado Arena.
The dual against Cal Poly came down to the wire, and was decided by the final match of the afternoon. The Mustangs edged the Bears 21-18, and won the final four matches of the dual, which sparked the comeback.
With less than a month until conference, the Bears are competing hard and picking up some big individual wins, which will become a big factor for conference and NCAA Championship seeding. All the individual rankings are below:
