Northern Colorado wbb looks to even up its Big Sky record when they host Weber State
GREELEY, Colo.—Following a thrilling comeback victory on Thursday night, Northern Colorado women's basketball will look to continue the momentum against Weber State on Saturday afternoon. The Bears and Wildcats tip-off at 2:00 p.m. in an early season Big Sky game as they battle for position on the Road to Reno.

The Matchup
Northern Colorado is coming off an exciting 14 point comeback win over Idaho State on Thursday. Kourteney Zadina made the game winning basket with 1.9 seconds left to give UNC the 48-47 win.
Weber State is looking to stay undefeated in Big Sky play, coming off a 62-56 road victory over North Dakota Thursday. For the season WSU is 10-3 on the year and 2-0 in Big Sky play.
Scouting the Wildcats
Weber State is off to a good start this season, with a 9-3 record, including being 2-0 in Big Sky play. The Wildcats are under fifth year head coach Bethann Ord.
Once again this season Regina Okoye is the focal point for Weber State. She is leading the team with 15.1 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 2.4 spg and 1.5 apg.
Outside of Okoye, Weber State does not have another player scoring in double digits. Kalie Quinn is close though averaging 9.9 ppg.
WSU is one of the top defensive teams in the league, ranking first in defensive scoring allowing 52.2 ppg and second in rebounding defense, holding opponents to just 35.0 boards a game.
The Wildcats are coming in off a road victory at North Dakota Thursday night. Deeshyra Thomas had 20 points for WSU in the 62-56 victory. Okoye added in 13 points while grabbing five rebounds and five steals.
Last Time Against Weber State
Weber State snapped UNC's nine game win streak in the team's series, by taking advantage of a poor shooting day from the Bears. The team went 18-for-60 from the field for 30.0 percent.
In the defeat D'shara Strange had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Weber State was led by the combined 26 points from Jalen Carpenter and Regina Okoye. Okoye who ended up leading the NCAA in steals last season recorded three in the game.

UNC is 95-118 all-time against Big Sky opponents. Since joining the conference in the 2006-07 season, the Bears are 85-82 all-time. Last season the Bears went 12-6 in the conference to finish third.
